Excellent warehousing and cold chain facilities, cordial customer relations, comprehensive annual contracts for preventive maintenance, prompt after-sales support, customized services and appropriate end-user training providing up-to-date information on drugs, medical appliances and procedures, are the key factors that have given BHC a competitive edge in the healthcare market.
BHC works closely with the government of the Sultanate of Oman in its continuing drive to establish new hospitals, enhancement of facilities in existing hospitals besides introducing best-in-class equipment and new treatment methods.
We entered Oman's healthcare industry in 1979 with modest pharmacy outlet called Ebin Rushed Pharmacy [ERP] in Muscat. Soon ERP was instrumental in the launch and establishment of the first pharmaceutical manufacturer in Oman. With competitive aggressive marketing and growth strategies ERP positioned itself as a dominant player in the healthcare market within a very short time and restructured itself as Bahwan Healthcare Centre (BHC) in 2009. Through Bahwan Healthcare Centre more retail outlets and clinics were added to provide better service to the healthcare needs of the public.
BHC is a major supplier of healthcare equipments and other hospital related supplies to the Government hospitals and clinics under the Ministry of Health and hospitals in the private sector.
